February 2011 Foreword
I remember a simpler time; a time when couples didn't argue over Facebook status updates, when Australia had weather to be jealous of, when sexism in football was funny, and when Egypt was an appealing holiday destination. Those were the things that got us talking over our cocktails in January, what is usually a mundane month has passed in a flash of hungover haziness and good times.
So, hello February. A great month for the romantics, egg chasers and people on a monthly payroll. I'm fu*ked then.
In local news there's plenty of new stuff to talk about; Lithium Bar on Queenstown Road promises to be a new favourite weekend hangout, Red?Monkey on Battersea Rise is now Dime Bar + Diner. Anesis Fish Spa opened in style on The Pavement with celebs a-plenty at their launch and we've seen plenty of refurbs and changes at a number of our favourite venues.
